Like most of my drawings it came out of necesity. 
This one is my first CAD drawing made to suit a client needs in FreeCad, namely my friends that fitted a new door lock at their garden fence and when Amazon deliverd their order of 6 folded wooden chairs IKEA style packed, the driver tossed it over the fence snapping the handle. 
It was faster and cheaper for me to design it and print it for them than  to run around buying another lock and fitting it (nope, there were no suitable handles avaialble on Amazon or Ebay)
It fits a square bar of 8x8mm that is normal find on any door locks.
